Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Safe Cards mobile application (the "Service") operated by SafeCards ("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Your Data and Security

1.1. Local Storage & Encryption SafeCards is designed with your privacy in mind. All your card data is stored locally on your device only and is protected by strong encryption. We do not store or have access to your personal data on our servers.

1.2. Password Responsibility You are solely responsible for your master password. If you forget or lose your master password, your data cannot be recovered by us or anyone else and will be permanently lost.

1.3. Optional Backup and Restore Feature The Service offers an optional Backup and Restore feature. By using it, you agree that:

• You are responsible for securely storing your Backup ID and the password used for encryption.

• Attachments are NOT included in the backup. The feature only backs up the text-based data of your cards.

• All backups are automatically deleted from our servers after 30 days.

2. User Responsibilities and Conduct

2.1. General Conduct You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the Service by introducing viruses or other malicious material.

2.2. Responsibility for Attachments The Service allows you to attach files to your cards. By using this feature, you agree that:

• You are solely responsible for the content of the files you attach.

• You confirm that you have the legal right to use, store, and share any files you attach.

• You agree not to attach any content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, infringing on copyright or trademarks, or otherwise objectionable.

• We do not monitor the content of your attachments and are not liable for any content you choose to attach to your cards.

3. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content and features are the exclusive property of SafeCards and its licensors.

4. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SafeCards be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data resulting from a forgotten password, a lost Backup ID, or the content of any files you attach.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately if you breach these Terms.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. By continuing to use the Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
